Jon Pickett was born in Dayton, OH and moved “home” to the mountains of Estes Park 21 years ago, where his career in environmental education and adventure recreation evolved into a chance to live a life surrounded by music, friends, and nature. 

Now a full-time musician and part-time naturalist/guide, Jon is an entertainer at heart. His solo show offers a fun and eclectic set, perfect for live music events, featuring everything from original soulful songs to his creative takes on some of the best and obscure hits. He plays genres ranging from blues to bluegrass, Petty to Sabbath, Motown to Americana, and Van Morrison to Johnny Cash, including both new songs and old favorites. In addition to writing and performing solo, Jon showcases his talents on the upright bass and serves as a vocalist, songwriter, and founding member of the Colorado-based bluegrass band Chain Station.

Jon is available for a variety of bookings including solo performances, duos, trios, full bands, kids' events, and even as a wedding musician for receptions or DJ dance parties.
