Jon Pickett was born in Dayton, OH and moved “home” to the mountains of Estes Park 21 years ago where his career in environmental education and adventure recreation evolved into a chance to live a life surrounded by music, friends and  nature. 

Now a full-time musician,

part-time naturalist/guide and entertainer at heart, Jon’s solo show is a fun and eclectic set ranging from original-soulful songs to his creative take on some of the best & obscure hits.  Blues to bluegrass, Petty to Sabbath, Motown to Americana, Van Morrison to Johnny Cash, new songs, old songs and everything in between. As well as writing & preforming solo Jon plays the upright bass and is a vocalist, songwriter and founding member of Colorado based bluegrass band Chain Station.
